Gianni Versace Bio
Gianni Versace was born on December 2, 1946 in Italy. Versace spent years designing for the theater which earned him a respectable position in the fashion industry. Versace's collaborations with American photographer Richard Avedon really put Versace on the map. His trademark is metallic garments. Versace had an huge empire that included fragrances, boutiques, and home products. On July 15, 1997, Versace was shot to death outside his home in Miami beach by fugitive Andrew Cunanan. Donatella Versace, Gianni Versace's sister succeeded him as head of the fashion house.
Valentino Bio
Valentino Gravani is an Italian fashion designer born in 1932. He grew up drawing fashions and wanted to study art and design. He has successfully combined Paris and Italian fashion together.He has established himself as one of the greatest designers with a very elegance and beautiful style.
Junya Watanabe Bio
Junya Watanabe is a Japanese fashion designer born in Fukushima, Japan in 1961. He attended Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo and graduated in 1984. He began his first apprenticeship as a patternmaker. Starting in 1992 he has worked under his own name. He is known for designing innovaive and unique clothing. He is particularly interested in synthetic and technology advanced textile fabrics. He is considered to be a "techno couture designer."
Limi Feu Bio
Limi Feu (born originally Limi Yamamoto is a Japanese fashion designer. She is the daughter of designer Yohji Yamamoto. She started her label oin 2000 and showed her line at Tokyo Fashion Week between 2000 and 20007. She made her Paris Fashion Week debut in October 2007. Limi Feu's designs contain dark colors, large volume. asymmetry, and layering in their designs. Her designs also have a streetwise and rock attitude.
Marc Jacobs Bio
Marc Jacobs was born on April 9, 1963 in New York City.He attended the High School of Art and Design and the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Jacobs won many respectable awards such as the Perry Ellis Gold Thimble Award and the Design Student of the Year. Following his studies at Parsons he became prominent on the fashion scene when he designed a "grunge" collection for Perry Ellis. His clothes are available in a few boutiques around the world.

Nicole Miller was born in 1952. Nicole Miller has remained a part of America's design elite. She has earned degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris. She has a background in art and couture. She opened her first boutique in 1986 to cater to her loyal customers, which led to a trend for independent designers wanting creative freedom from department stores.Nicole Miller is in the process of penning a book on cuisine and the art of enertaining. She also emphasizes charity giving and raises money for different charities.
Tristan Webber Bio
Tristan Webber is an English fashion designer. He is known for cutting amazing silhouettes with a touch of fantasy and science fiction. His collection is avant-garde and has been called as London's prime futurist the Britiush Fashion Council. His signature leather creations show his craftsmanship and technical capability. He uses vivid colors with sharply cut shapes, snd his chlothes are wearable.

Alexander McQueen Bio
Alexander McQueen is an English Fashion Designer. His mix of creativity, contreoversy, and technical mastery has earned him three British Designer of the Year awards and many celebrity fans.He studied at St. Martin's College in London.. In 1996, he was named the role of chief designer at Givenchy. In 2000, McQueen left Givenchy and has joined the Gucci Group because he felt creatively stifled.
Nina Ricci Bio
Nina Ricci is a Parisian fashion designer born in 1883. She became an apprentice in a paris couture house in 1900. She showed her first collection in 1932 and her fragrances in 1941. She developed a wide range of products in furs, cosmetics, and fashion accessories. Aftre her reirement in 1959, the company contiued to prosper. Nina Ricci died in 1970. By the mid-1990s she had boutiques in over 130 countries.
Yves Saint Laurent Bio
Yves Saint Laurent was born on August 1, 1936. He continues to be innovative, and a directional force in fashion design. IN 1957, he inherited Christian Dior's Fashion house and designed there until he opened his own fashion house in 1962. Yves Saint Laurent is highly influenced by art. He opened his own boutique chain Rive Gauche in 1966 which soon expanded to 160 branches worldwide. He launched the Left Bank Look, insiped by the students who inhabited Paris. He introduced masculine tailoring for women(tuxedos and pant-suits) in 1966. He followed this with the knickerbcker suit, then culottes, then his trouser suit. An important quote from Yves Saint Laurent was "clothes were a form of protest"
